Made it thru the weekend...it wasn't a complete disaster, nor was it awesome. I got home around noon and hand a really good day just hanging out with Phil, & enjoying ourselves. Picked up some WONDERFUL hot chocolate at Williams-Sonoma - my friends, you have not lived until you have tried this! smile

Shopping at Lane Bryant is also very good for my ego because their...

Well, fuck a duck!

I have to work thru the Thanksgiving holiday, because my department handles Canada, and we have to stay available for our customers during their hours of operation. Now half of my team still managed to get off the hook via vacation and personal time, but our customers aren't going to stop needing service because it's a holiday at the dispatch center...

Woo-hoo, Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire fucking ROCKED!!! biggrin biggrin biggrin

It was intense, emotional, and had plenty to laugh at! Tenfold better than Prisoner of Azkaban, I thought. (With that movie, I didn't like them leaving out the significance of the Maurauders Map and Harry's stag patronus. That really adds a lot of depth and meaning to the story.)

Other movies I'm really looking forward...

Right, so a man and a woman have just arrived in their hotel room on their honeymoon. The man takes off his pants and says, "here, put these on." The woman says, "Excuse me?" The man goes, "that's right, put on my pants". So the woman puts on the man's pants, and tightens the belt as tight as it will go. They fall down around...

i think that 'love' is an illusion in the case of the song and your only hope is to escape reality as the devil takes over and immerse your soul in that which would comfort if it existed....
or
love is the devil, hence immerse your soul=just give in to the devil, just give up....

I figured as such since you listed Radio-
head as one of your fave bands. They're one
of my faves, too. It's been almost 10 years
and I'm still torn between The Bends and
OK Computer as my favorite album of
theirs.

On Sunday, just for shits & giggles, I moseyed on over to the Apple Store at Easton, with my pink iPod mini. It failed its battery test (no surprises there, it only held a charge for about 2 hours), and the warranty expired in August. frown

However, they were able to hook me up with a refurbished unit, good as new, for just $59! biggrin
Sure beats...

Today I won $25 in a geigh, Office Space-esque Pumpkin Decorating Contest at work. I tried to paint a Canada theme, like everyone else in my department. Alas, I can't draw a straight line with a ruler. So I just said "fuck it!" and started splattering paint all over my pumpkin a la Jackson Pollack. It actually ended up looking kinda cool! It won the...

Know what really gets me hot and bothered? A guy who drives a Mazda Miata (or other similarly compact car). Why? Because if what they say about cars and penis extensions is true, then a guy who drives a Miata must have a 12-inch cock as fat as a beer can!

So all you guys out there who think you're impressing the chicks with your...

yaaaay you're near Upper Arlington? Sweet! If you don't mind, tell me about your job. I'm really curious about companies that might need someone who speaks French. I will be looking for a job when I move there.

Just got back from a business trip to Calgary. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there, and I'd definitely go back on vacation. I'm also pretty pissed off right now, and I can sum in up in 3 little words: FUCK AIR CANADA! mad

Those cocksuckers just don't know how to handle baggage! They always seem to put it on the flight AFTER the one you're taking!...

no i wish i made all of the garments themselves cause i could use the practice. i guess i should say "designed" because somehow in the theatre costume design world if you put it together it's your creation even if you bought the pieces elsewhere. i guess cause theatres can't possibly afford to make everything from scratch.

i just think it's scary that i have so many costume combinations, most of which are totally combined by me as in i didn't go to the store and buy a costume kit, and even cooler most were bought at a budget (corsets are about the priciest pieces, but i get a helluva a lot of use out of them). i have to flex my design muscle somehow in my year off...whatever
