wa'gwan?
I bought my self a New Era 59FIFTY hat yesterday and it is 70% rude boy, 30% geek. It's rude boy cos it makes me look like Fabulous or some other wack ass American emcee. It's 30% geek cos it is emblazoned with the Punisher logo. I felt a bit wrong buying it cos I haven't read any of the comics but I loved the film when I saw it and it was either that or a Batman (cool but a bit obvious) os SUperman (super fucking lameface) one. I also bought a new shirt that is so awesome, I'm now totaly rocking the ghetto fabulous look, though I am neither ghetto nor fabulous but still, I'm looking cool.
I'm feeling prety good right now. Since I broke up with my ex girlfriend i feel like i'd lost my swagger a bit and was looking at everything as being a bit of a downer but since I actually got to speak to her and see that we can still be friends and at least get a long and laugh I've been feeling much better. I feel like I'm getting my shit together in my head and going back to my awesomesauce ways.
This did lead to an arkward situation last night....
I'd spent the day hanging out with my homie Jon who has recently left his job and has nothing to do. I've taken the week off so yesterday we met up in Guildford and decided to kill a few hours by drinking. This started at around noon and continued, and continued and continued for a very long time. i think the plan was to have a few beers then go back to his for tinnys and green smoke but instead we met up with someone who I haven't seen in years. This girl and i used to so tight, like brother and sister until it all went a bit crap and we fell out but yesterday we got on like nothing had changed and it felt so good to be able to get passed our old issues and be friends again.
So, after all these drunken shenanigans (which saw me start spend 6.50 on double vodka redbulls, why Lord? WHY!?!) Jon and i walked home. As we walked past Guildford station I saw two ladies sitting in the bus stop and as we passed them i said "wasssup?" in my best Turk from Scrubs impression. I'm not sure if they heard me but after entering the station I decided 'fuck it, why not go back and say hello?'. Jon passed up on this because he isn't a strange-o like me but I went back to say howdy. And spoke to them i did, it was all going swimmingly until they asked me how old i was. I told them and since i was a bit drunk and running out of stuff to say i asked them how old they were and then it happened
i had been speaking to two 16 years olds for 25 minutes!
I felt hurt and cheated on that they would pretend to look like they were my age while being so much younger and while I hadn't been trying to get anything going, I seriously did just want a chat to see if I could get my game back I felt wrong and unclean.
On the flip side I had a really good chat with them about a whole bunch of stuff and in a way it was good to be able to go up to complete strangers and be able to carry a conversation with them, it was like my confidence is back and I'm getting back to the old Steve again, happy days on that one.
Break ups suck so much but realising that you are going to be okay afterwards is an awesome feeling, the world is not over!
On other news, I'm thinking of getting a full sleave dedicated Generation 1 Transformers, I'm so obsessed with it right now its just scary. I've got a few ideas of how it would look and when I'm in Brighton I'ma kick them around with this dude James who I'm hoping will do my Autobot/Decepticon insignia. I've got this awesome idea of having the top of my arm set in space with the bottom of it set on Earth and a shit load of Transformers doing Transformer stylee shit inbetween. it'll take a lot of time, effort and money but if I can get whats in my head onto paper and then onto my arm I think it'll be amazing. So far I'm def set on getting galvatron, Cyclonus, Starscream and Unicron on there. My god, how do you spell geek?
Anyway thats about it from me
Hope all is well in your ends
