Boyhood will win best picture this year. If I'm wrong, it's not my fault. It's the academy throwing a rare curve ball. For me, the two best pictures of the year were The Grand Budapest Hotel and Inherent Vice. With Birdman and Gone Girl being close seconds. Honestly, I would be very happy with Boyhood winning best picture. I love Richard Linklater's work. Was it the best film of the year? I'm not sure. However it was something that no one had ever done before. And it was a staggering work of art. It was so beautiful.
