Haven't been around here much. Finally got some time off work, though it now seems I am busier than ever taking care of all the personal things I have been neglecting.
I've been shooting a fair bit. Got a few jobs lined up over summer, including some stuff just for me.
I've been wanting to get a gallery exhibition of my work for a while, but it is all odds and ends, nothing to really go together as one. To that end I have come up with a theme for a photo essay and I will be shooting it all in one over December.
It will be the first time I have shot such a long sequence of shots, I tend to meticulously plan out and fuss over lighting set-ups and comp and use it for one off shots. I get really anal about the look that I have in my mind and put it all into one perfect shot - so I'm gonna need to change my work habits a lil and share it out.
i'll put up previews of the shoot as I go.

Lovely picture!! I so wish to experiment with lighting and reflectors. I really hope I get the opportunity to fuss over my own setups one day. Right now the costs are prohibitive. So unfortunate.
