Hey, thank you so much for your advice!! I'm so grateful for tech advice in particular because it's still fairly confusing for me.

As for the people... I'm not sure. My cousin's in town. She's a 23yr old girl and has been snapping away like crazy here. One guy actually came right up to her today and confronted her about whether she'd taken a photo of him! As it happens, she hadn't, and replied so. But you see... that'd freak me out. :s I get the impression that people are a little more suspicious in this city...
