June first, my own personal self imposed deadline for making a decision about leaving Vancouver Island or staying on it. I suppose I'll push it ahead a week, awaiting a call about a job in Northern BC. Student loan deadlines are quickly approaching, as is 25...there is a tremendous amount of pressure, internal and external to be independent. Self reliant if you will. If June 7th passes and a job is not offered, then what? Rent needs to be paid, and student loans need to be repaid. The routes I know out of retail and dependency have been exhausted. It is time for a new plan, a new direction.
