4 days until we close on the new house!
8 days until Josie turns 1!
162 days (give or take) til new baby arrives!
I am officially working only nights now. Its still kind of hard because Josie wakes up at 7 no matter what. It would be easier if I could sleep until like 9 or 10 on my days off. On the nights I work, I come home in the morning and get her ready and then she goes to daycare so I can sleep. Its $5 more per hour and I just like working nights better, at a hospital anyway. I HATE getting up at 5 am for work. I just have a little adjusting to do to get used to staying up all night, and of course, I can't drink a lot of coffee being pregnant, that makes it harder. I do drink some though.
So last Thursday, 1 week before we close, the mortgage person calls and tells us we need to get her a copy of Josie's birth certificate and a copy of my diploma because they want proof of why I didn't have an income last year (school and baby) but of course, we couldn't find those things...the diploma was packed in storage and the birth cert. that is SUPPOSED to be in the safe deposit box, wasn't there!! We looked for 2 days..AND I didn't sleep and worked Thursday night and came home Friday morning and got woken up after 2 hours sleep with "If we don't get those in today, we'll lose the house!" soooooooo I had to wake up go to the health department and get a copy of the birth cert and then take it to the mortgage people and then by the time I ate and got home it was time to go to work again. So I basically had 2 full days with only 3-4 hours sleep. Yeah, thats healthy. ANd then my wonderful husband says..."well, its your fault you wanted to work nights!" so that means I don't deserve to sleep????
Hopefully everything will be good and we will close without any problems. Of course this week I won't get sleep either. I work Wed night, we close Thursday then I work Thursday night, off Friday and work Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights. Wonderful.
edit: I guess the loan has been officially approved, we close on Thursday. YIKES! Scary! Cool! Exciting!

I will raise a martini for you wednesday if I get my project done as I hope
That's the crib blanket. I can't find it anywhere else online, but that's probably because it was from last year. And I don't know why the ebay person says it's for a boy because I got it for a girl. Anyway.... I think I have the blanket, the bumper and the crib skirt. I also have some pretty neutral crib sheets if you want those. I guess I can just get some stuff together and let you go through it??
If you ever need to have Jon drop off Josie so you can get some sleep after work, let me know. Most days it wouldn't be a problem.
Do you know what Jon is up to over the next few days? Do you think he'd have a chance to stop and look at our stupid cable modem that isn't working? I'll buy you guys pizza!!
