Ouch. There's this spot, just out of my reach, slightly below my shoulder blade. It pinches whenever i raise my arm up too high, and i recieved this lovely ball of pain while wearing Armor and being hit with a big stick. (go SCA !)
and i do enjoy earning those knots, its the rest of the time i spend with them that i don't like.
Buts thats a side note. This week has been a royale pain in the butt. I spent 4.5 hours driving the other day, pulling a favour for a friend, and it went well. we accomlished the mission, by invading a strange place, bargaining for supplies and vamoosing before anyone could catch us.
The only catch 22? that we forgot the Main thing we came to get; The Barrel. got everythign else we need to make armor. but the barrel, kind of, well, it sort of, is the protective part. and without it, really you're just wearing leathr straps, which while amusing in certain circumstances, is not fun while being chased with a wooden club.
Oh, and i got a Speeding ticket that day. It went well with the Flat tire i got the next day, And the Poker game i lost that night. Remind me to stick to geek things, please. MTG, SCA, DnD, these are games i'm good at. Poker? i just don't care enough, and it's funny too, because i play really well until i get bored. Then i crash and burn in a wreck of all-in's until someone has a hand that can beat my all powerful Ace-high all-in. thank god they can't see my 2 cards.
Now, all of the sudden, I am antsy and need to go and do stuff. Burning my savings is ok in small regulated doses, but when your savings starts dropping in uncontrolled leaps and bounds, you begin to think that maybe the money doesn't want to be in your bank account.
On the flip side, Pandora.com and Limewire are a new, yet old combo that i like having wild times with. it sucks my time away in large doses when i'm not looking, but the good side is that my music is getting a much needed overhaul, aaand it distracts me from the rest of my life.
