My stereo system had been faulty for about a year now, I was about to throw it out the second story window. It would only play 2 out of 20 CD's, and had over digitized acoustics. After two years of waiting, my tuition refund finally came in the mail! So I went out and got a new bookshelf stereo system, and the rest is to pay off some of my current school loan.

My kid cousin stayed with my family here in Cali for a week. It was great to have her presence around, it takes away the anonymous and everyday looming bullshit being a "grownup." Such topics have been covered by a Harvard professor, regarding the societal demands and expectations, as well as the stripmining of childhood, only speeding up through the generational factors.
