so how is everyone doing? it has been really nice weather here the last few days.....been loving it. bad thing is it is still raining on and off and with all the derby festival stuff comming up it really sucks. the big fire work thing (thunder over louisville) is planned for this weekend and there will be at least a half million people here ( no thats not an exageration) to see it and the weather will be in the low to mid 50's. it is down on the riverfront and the river is up cuz of all the rain so parts are roped off. still all-in-all it is a good time. all week long there are partys and live bands......events all leading up to the derby.

so i went to the doctor again and he said that i need another surgery and possibley at least two more. it really sucks that i cant get over this and get on with what i want to do.

mom is really bad off.....she is turning into a scarecrow before my eyes....wont eat anything solid. she just cant do it. im a small guy 5'7" and can put my hand around her upper arm touching my thumb and middle fingers together. it really sucks. dad goes in to see what his pet scan says. its was good the last time...his cancer is still there but not getting any bigger.....just staying the same. we are hoping that it is at least the same this time.....he wants to live at least five more years to get his finances together before he passes.

my kids are doing good. my daughter went to atlanta this weekend to do a school compatition. she is in the shelby singers which is a special choir that they have at her high school. they have singers and dancers and she is in the singer part. this was a national compittion which is really important from what i understand. they also got to perform at the atlanta hawks game at half time. now that was cool. the singers and dancers won first place which is wonderful, she called me all excited and crying....i was really happy and proud of her. my son has been in florida for spring break all week and is due back this morning. lucky guy.....i could have gone since it was all expense paid trip but with my mom in the condition that she is in i really didnt want to be gone from here right now.

i am planning on going to the hell city tattoo convention this year. anyone else going? i know my friend Sunshine is going. i want to spend the night up there and go for two days but we will have to see what the money situation is like.

sorry if i have been rambling but i really dont have to many people to talk to and putting it out on here helps.
