here is one of my favorite passages from a book, some of you may reconize it. i do actually think about this when times are tough......

i shall not fear
fear is the mind-killer
fear is the little death that brings total obliteration
i shall face my fear
i will permit it to pass over me and through me
and when it has gone past me, i will turn to see fear's path
where the fear has gone there will be nothing
only i will remain


i am thinking about that since i am going to have some tests done on my back tomorrow. the doctor told me he was going to inflict more pain on me then just about anything else he can do, so needless to say im a bit nervous and scared.

soooo i wil face my fear
