I just spent the last two days/nights setting up a brand spanking new MacPro G5, eight core and lots of RAM - nerd heaven lol.
In all seriousness this new mac will help me in my creative ventures and make my work much, much faster and easier, especially music, no more freezing tracks and back and forth or plug ins bringing the system to its knees. Painter (digital painting software) is so smooth and responsive on this new mac it brings me to tears of joy lol.
All I can say is if you have been umming and ahhing about upgrading to a MacPro just do it, the difference to my old G5 is like night and day!
Otherwise not much happening today, Sunday is the one day I try to do nothing and just relax with my significant other and take it easy. Might watch a movie later, or perhaps go out somewhere. I went to an Australian Rules football game on Friday night for the first time in years, it was really good apart from the fact my team was thrashed and didn't look like they had turned up to actually play! It really did remind me how I don't just don't really relate too much to mainstream society though. I function perfectly well within it, but I have very little interest in the same things (mostly material) that most people do any more. It's all about the art for me now, whether it be music, design, writing or drawing and painting... and thinking about more than the 9-5 and the priorities we have been conditioned to accept, but then it always has been I suppose.

New Mac...yes! That's one of the things I'm saving my pennies for. So far superior in every way to Windows. Have fun!
