Head phones on. And I'm gone...

I Love the way these tracks sound. How they move me and how well they spur a creative wave in me every time I hear them. If any of you out there in SG land appreciate this and know of some other artists I should listen to, please let me know!
mylene:
Thank you for compliment, was glad to hear you loved the photo!

And about the music, what about Enigma?
mylene:
Well, it's not a set for SG, just some photos.

So much has changed in my life. I graduated college and got my career rolling. Moved up to Providence, RI and now looking for the next big chapter. I apologize for being gone so long. I've missed SG. I'll be keeping more up to date with this in the near and coming days and months.

I'm finally doing what I love and I can't wait...

So I've been long overdue for a new post on here...

Where I'm at now? Month two of my four month finals department. The hours are building and I'm usually up working for about 12 - 16 hours a day. Sometimes I get burnt out on having to be creative all day, everyday, but I keep telling myself it'll all be worth it in the...

Of course smile I hope you make it*

And yeah, I'm really excited to get it finished. I'm trying to tell a story with it, my favorite part of the piece is a greaser boyfriend home run slugging a zombie in the face with a bat and his girl friend scared pin-up style on his motorcycle...all set in a creepy cemetery, lol. Lots of colors, monsters and other 40's and 50's props are gonna make up the rest. I've been refining it for about a year and still polishing bits on my free time. I'm excited for it and can't wait to get it!

Hey!
Thank you for the sweet comment on my blog!
I'm a real sucker for the 40s/50s look, and this photographer is one of the few people who can capture that great retro look perfectly! You can click Here for his site.
The calender is gonna be all (modern) burlesque, with a lot latex smile
Btw nice idea for your sleeve! I'm curious to see pictures of it

I found this Australian DJ today who does remixes for Disney, Pixar and other popular films by cutting and splicing the actors lines and tones of words together to make a pretty amazing sound and score. If you haven't hear of Pogo already this is one of his latest ones done for UP!

So.

::CRAZY STARTS NOW::

Finals classes stretch 5 months and I'm currently in my 1st month. Animation pre-production, I start all my concept work and lighting/texture studies of my future assets to build toward my final portfolio Demo Reel. I'm guessing most of you haven't seen any of my work so I attached an environment shot I did for a scene extension, A cartoon Nosferatu...

I had a ex-friend who majored in cinematography for the booming movie biz in STL. Needless to say, he now works as a medical billing bitch. (He was my friend first then went with my ex-fiancee in the break up) But he never did any fun animation stuff. He's convinced he is going to work for Adult Swim....

Sounds a little shitty... but I do love St. Louis...at the same time I realize I'm not going to go anywhere in that city as far as CG animation. I'm hoping to get on with a studio in Boston, Chicago or Vancouver. It's exciting to think about but it's extremely cut throat in competition for a job...

how long have you been in STL?

Ok, I guess I'll start off with "The Losers" being pretty much entertaining* Definitely more of a guy's movie, I think, but good none the less. I'd love to pick up the comics and check out the whole series. The evil/bad guy in this movie is also one of the most sarcastic and best I've seen played in a long time and the character Chris...

So I've decided to go with a more classic hair style. I love the first half of the 19th century and how everyone back then had a certain style and sophistication to themselves. ...And I've also been getting addicted to "Mad Men" <-- (Amazing) so I tried out my hair see if I could pull it off...yay or nay?

Also...First snow since I've been back...
