Don't get me wrong; I love the warmth and long days of summer but the crowds by my work are slowly dispersing and we are drawing closer and closer to.....HALLOWEEN!!
I've always loved the fall (Halloween) season. Dressing up in costumes was my favorite thing as a kid and pretty much remains so in my adult life, I just find ways to make it work with day to day life. All the stores are stocked with decorations for my room!
My husband's birthday is also Halloween so now it has become double excuse to do it up big.
This year, we will be going as some Nameless Ghouls from the band Ghost. Yes, it is September 16th and I have already ordered pieces of my Halloween costume...
You know what's even better about this fall, this October. We are seeing Ghost perform in LA for the first time! I am beyond excited, just a little bit over a month to go.
That will be my bit of fun before I delve into the madness of my first round of finals at university (big kid school as I call it).
Before all that happens, I want to say thank you for all of you who took the time thus far to check out my latest set. I am really pleased with the outcome and it seems like a lot of you are too!
Also, thank you to all my friends who wished me a happy birthday. Having wild birthday celebrations seem kind of silly at this point but it still felt good to receive some well wishes. I apologize for not going through and thanking individually but I really do appreciate it. I am very lucky to know some awesome and kind people through Suicide Girls.
Fun Fact: I am not your average white girl. I really don't care for pumpkin spice flavored things. I do enjoy some pumpkin pie but flavor-wise, Christmas season is my favorite time. SO MUCH PEPPERMINT!
What's your favorite part about the fall season?
