I haven't had much to blog about lately. Christmas was quite lovely for me; my husband got me all the Lego sets I could want for. Even better, he LOVED his gifts. His mom and I went halfsies on an Xbox One which he was quite excited about but then on Christmas Day, he got another big gift he wasn't expecting.
New Years was pretty quiet as well. We spent it at family's and I almost didn't make it to midnight. A mixture of fatigue and beers got me.
Since December 18th, I've had these lumps suddenly appear on my neck. First it was just two. As they were twins, I aptly named them Luke and Leia, making it all cutesy and shit. Well, Luke and Leia, the sick bastards, had babies because after Christmas, I found more, smaller lumps along my neck which put me into freak out mode. I had a doctor's appointment scheduled for the 6th and pushed it up to ASAP which was last week. They took blood and I got an ultrasound done on my neck on NYE. I have a follow up on the 6th now to go over the results. I'm not scared of what it could be, I just want some answers. My neck has always been rather thin and they are quite noticeable to me. Thank god it's winter because I've felt so self-conscious I've worn scarves every day. Other than the lumps, I've had no secondary symptoms other than I've been run ragged by school and working two jobs for the past 4 months.
So instead of worrying myself further on WebMD, has anyone else ever had anything like this? The doctor didn't ask any further questions to give me a clue as to where it might be coming from so I am just doing my best to refrain from freaking out for a few more days
Cheers everyone! Here's to not dying in 2016...
