Well um, hi to everyone who was told to say hi to me. I'd go through individually but I'm too sodding tired. So hi.
I worked 12 hours at two jobs today and have just sat down for the first time since 10.30. Also, the wind blew my door open this morning and Nadja, my dog, hightailed it. I ran frantically. Then called frantically. Then Iggy more or less saved the day by being cool-headed. Suffice it to say it wasn't a good morning, but, then again, I wouldn't have gotten to see Iggy before work so, ehh, it comes and goes.
My landlord finally tracked me down and apparently I owe somewhere around $2,300. I currently have .52 in my bank account. Ain't that a bitch? I'm going to argue some of the rent though, as I didn't have heat for about about a week this month, and the hot water was dodgy as well. Plus the health inspector said the condition of the building was "appauling" and gave me a copy of her card. So, we'll have to see.
In other news, reading and writing about the Holocaust and Nazi Europe every free chance I have for the encyclopedia articles I'm writing is somewhat depressing. However, I'm also writing a piece on play as a revolutionary tactic based on the talk I gave at the Renewing the Anarchist Tradition conference last year, so it's not all death and bad facial hair.
And now, back to the ghettos and concentration camps before Iggy gets home to distract me (thank the lord).
