There's ostensibly been a bug in the billing server, whereby defunct accounts from way back got accidental gift accounts. Whatever the reason, I like that you're back.
My computer's motherboard fried itself. They can't even fix it at the Apple Store this time. It's gone probably until next week. I have to hijack other people's computers and get what I can, like now. Much sadness abounds.
Things that irritate or flat-out piss me off. See if you can guess which ones apply to my life right now.
-People who drive all over the fucking parking lot looking for a spot close to the store. Just take a spot and walk. No need to hold up traffic waiting for someone to back out when you could already be in the store if... Read More
I really don't do surveys at all, but I didn't want to leave the birthday thing out. Plus I am apparently supposed to do one since other people decide these things, something I did not know.
Whatever.
Seven things I want to do before I die:

Is this not inherent sexism? The really nerdy guys should get... Read More
I don't normally pop-off way outside the margins of a Threads focus; I guess I slept badly last night.
I think The Baxter played pretty well with romance-movie conventions of another sort- wondering what happens to all those guys who are stood up at the end of romantic movies for the heroes of same movies. I believe it made about $13 at the box office, not counting my ticket, of course.
i noticed that you mention dave mckean and neil gaiman. have you seen mirrormask yet? and are we talkin' gene wolfe's long sun/short sun stuff? jes' curious is all.
