well, i've been home for a few days now. all i've been doing at Ft Lewis is inprocessing. being in med hold is boring as hell! once i'm done inprocessing i don't know what i'm going to do all day. i'll probably just stay out of sight, out of mind, i dunno......

well, i'm going home tomorrow! or at least back to Ft. Lewis, but i'm told i'll probably go on leave again, as my profile pretty much says,"not good for anything." and i don't need any treatment. only thing left to do for my melon is let it heal on its own.

well, just got some good news today! i don't have to go to a med. board! thus, my chances of being medically discharged are like, NILL! they call me "fit for duty," though my profile says "no helmet, ne LBV, no FTX, no APFT, no 24 hour duty." as an infantryman, that sure doesn't sound like "fit for duty" to me, though!

well, heading back to walter reed tomorrow. this pisses me off! i wish they could do my evaluation at Madigan, 40 miles away from my house. instead they have to fly me across the country to determine i'm not yet fit for duty. i'm sure it's what's going to happen, since my head is STILL swollen from my injury/operation, and my incision still has scabs...

WOO-HOO! I just got a Harley today! paid $4000 for it, it's a 1980 XLH 1000 (Sportster). it's bad ass, too! has fat bob tanks, bobbed fender, twisted spoke rims, new paint, tires, clutch, and a bunch of other stuff. the bike itself was worth the 4 grand easy, and the guy gave me about 800-1000 dollars worth of leathers, too...... and about 300 dollars...

anyone speak russian? i got a dragunov, and the scope adjustment knobs say "sus," sol," dreapta," and "stinga" which i assume are "up," "down," "left," and "right." but i don't know which is which. the only web sites i've been able to find that translate translate it into russian text. i think the site assumes i'm russian, and trying to learn english or something.....
