The bad news has gone concrete. In short words, I'm not wanted, and if they have to transfer me (which is my legal right) they will make sure I hate it. Nothing round here that will pay, and my willingness to play team - i.e. to "delay" training while the company is having a bad time - has caught up with me.
So, I need a new job, and a new career. Not easy. Maybe not possible at all.
Lesson 1: Never trust a manager. Any manager. Ever.
Lesson 2: Join a union. The stronger the better.
Lesson 3: Jump ship early. If it looks like it's fucked, it probably is. Get a job somewhere else.
Lesson 4: It doesn't matter if it's stupid. It just has to pay. Everything else takes second place.
Lesson 5: Fear and loathing will make you say/type stuff you don't believe.
Lesson 6: They hate you, and they will enjoy doing you damage.
Lesson 7: Competition is bad for you. That's why they want you to compete.
