So, near the 209 on I5 in Portland, Wednesday, there was a wreck involving a semi that crashed into a total of 5 other vehicles. There are two tragedies here, in my eyes. The first being that one of the vehicles was a red BMW. The second tragedy is that my father was the truck driver. Now, he's probably going to be fired. It was technically his fault, but yet, not. It was pouring down, and for some reason, cars were stopped on the largest, fastest interstate highway in Oregon. Well, driving a semi with two fully loaded trailers in the rain at regular speeds doesn't quite well allow for stopping on such short notice. But, what makes it slightly his fault, is that he should have been driving slower in the rain with two fully loaded trailers. So, he got a "careless driving" ticket.
All in all, this basically amounts to my parents only relying on my mother's income ($500 a month for babysitting for my sister), which is definitely not going to cover all the bills. They also owed me $520, which they were going to pay back in two payments this next month. But, guess who's not going to get that money back now? And guess who's also going to cover what bills they can't? Damn it, I hate loving my parents so much Ah well; that's how things work out, right?
