Hmm... I backed up all of my important shit (personal files, music, and install files for programs and games), and then formatted my harddrive. I had a second one, but someone is borrowing it. Rather than pretend to be someone who has patience, I just jumped on the format, and then installed Slackware Linux. Now, I've used Linux many times before, and have never been happy with it; it's always been too damn hard for a lazy bastard like me to use. Until now. I installed Slackware 9.1, and am incredibly happy with it. I mean, it's a whole Hell of a lot fucking faster than that piece of shit put out by Microsoft. And some of the shit you can get for Linux... phew. It's insane. I mean, I don't even have to pirate these programs off the internet; they're FREE, and do the same damn things, and more, as their brother programs in Windows. I'm not just talking some small shit; but shit comparable to Lightwave, or Photoshop, along the entire MS Office suite. The ONLY thing Windows has over Linux, is that it's more widely used by folks at home. The only reason this is a good thing, is because more companies are making games for Windows than Linux. But, the tides are slowly turning, and more and more games are supported by Linux users. On top of that, the entire Linux community is in general much smarter than the Windows community, and makes clients and ports of these games ALL the time. Plus, there is winE and winEX, so that you can emulate a Windows machine, and play the games like that. Hell, the games even run better than they did in Windows (at least, on my machine).

No job yet. I'm a little bummed about the fact that Deviance is moving back to Kennewick, when I was just 45 minutes from there. It seems I moved a little prematurely. How fuck-ed. That's life, right? *sigh* Well, one of these days, I'll move to a place with more goths and punks, and I won't have to deal with all these hick mother fuckers I always run into. *sigh* Fuck. I'm sick of being surrounded by inbred mother fuckers.
