Monday's show at the Viper Room was awesome...apparently the music biz's biggest cheeses were all there and liked what they heard. Nic Harcourt introduced us. success!
playing for industry folk is all fine and dandy but I'm itching to get out on the road and play for real people, humans>aliens.
in the meantime, I'm playing a show at The Gig thursday night with another real fun project called "Slow Car Crash"...it's like Jamiroquai meets Motown with a bit more rock edge. Come check it out if you're not doing anything, the singer's voice has been known to wet panties ...seriously he's really great

Dissappointingly good - after only listening a few times of course.
I prefer the Rush where you can hear each individual instrument (or at least sound), but lately (last two albums at least) the sound is too 'full', too much filler, and not enough specific sound.
But overall good so far. I can see how it will grow on me. Far Cry (single) sounds the best because it sounds the most like the old Rush; and there are (i think) at least two instrumentals (always good -- even though i LOVE peart lyrics dlivered by lee).
