SGLand Advice

Okay, so I am a bit new to SGLand. I have almost been here for one full year! Honestly, I have learned so much since I started on the site as a hopeful. This brings me to my first suggestion, which is RESPECT. SuicideGirls has been around since 2001 and there are certain rules just like any other community. So try to respect the rules. If someone breaks the rules, please be respectful in communicating so. Also, this community is all about being "yourself", so don't disrespect another person because you don't like who they are. Of course, some people may seem to be (or actually be) rude; guess what, that's just life and apparently that's who they choose to be. Nonetheless, no one has the right to talk down to or look down on anyone else; unfortunately someone may step out of line at some point.

This leads me to the second rule, which is don't let others get you down. Personally, I have felt like this community can be a little competitive. There are so many girls, and it's easy to get jealous. DON'T!!! That goes against the entire point of SGLand, it's a community for female empowerment! All of us ladies are here to support and accept one another for the beautiful women we are 🙏 Every woman here deserves to be told she is beautiful, because she is. Obviously, not everyone will get along, the world is not perfect and this website is not a utopian society.

The way I have learned to get most comfortable on SuicideGirls is by networking and making new friends. I have realized how much fun it is to be here as I have started to be more active on SG and other social medias. The more I participate, the more I am able to reflect, meet individuals that either: love me, teach me, support me, and help me grow into a more positive woman. I have learned to be truly comfortable with my body and self. While being here does require "followers" and "likes", it's important to remember WHY we are here. By that I mean, without you there would be no me. A community, in the Suicidegirls sense is b : COMMON character :LIKENESS <community of interests> c :social activity : FELLOWSHIP d : a social state or condition.

By no means does this mean we are all the same, the community is too interesting and large for that. There are definitely many kindred spirits here though! So find the people that are going to help you on the journey of becoming whatever you aspire to be. The key is to stay positive. I feel like if an individual has good etiquette, they will end up making friends and reaping the true benefits of SuicideGirls 💋‼️

There is so much beauty, just appreciate all of it and good things will come. After all, there is a niche for everyone here. So many different people, so many different kinds- the key is finding the right ones. Wait- all this sounds like it could be applied to real life!? LOL, we're sitting behind computer screens- don't forget to be genuine.

No regrets, a positive experience is wonderful and a negative experience is a lesson learned.

Oh, and don't forget to attach photos to blogs. I have a feeling many members appreciate it 😉
