Update on that piece.
Worked on the gun, watch, hat, hands, and face a bit.
Also added some specular highlights smile


I tried drawing in the rocky background but every attempt sucked... it felt like it was only distracting from the figure in the foreground. I kinda like it as a field of color in the background. Gives it a graphic feel.

What do you guys think?
Does it just look unfinished and lazy as a background?

Anyways, thanks for the comments you guys have been leaving!

I really like the backround as is. I love how everything behind the gun is developed, and then the rest of the background is undeveloped. It gives the effect that everything is gravitating around the gun and what is about to happen. Adds action for me. As for the rest, its coming along great. The hands and face are beautifully realistic, and all the little details (the highlights on the glasses and the vegas lettering on his visor) make it that much more believable.
