Been a while.

This trucker gig is crazy, I haven't been in one place for more than 7 hours in the last two months O_o

Such a beautiful country, I think the only state I haven't been to at this point is North Dakota... it's just a matter of time...

Currently burning the midnight oil on a last minute x-mas gift for my sister and niece (portrait of my niece's kids). Hoping to get it finished and somehow manage to get a little sleep before tomorrow!

The hair is coming along slowly and don't even get me started on that baby nose >_<

I keep rendering out parts of the image and then erasing that...

It's amazing how the lessons learned while "painting" digitally apply directly to traditional media and vice versa. As far as i'm concerned, Photoshop belongs on the same list as pastels, graphite, charcoal, acrylics, etc...



I could not agree with you more. I feel like I've learned so much about color, in particular, from drawing in Adobe illustrator. I mean I'm nowhere near the level you are at, but I feel like it's helped my drawing skills incredibly as well.

Are you familiar with stuntkid? He posts some great time-lapse vids of his process.
