Best. Show. EVER.
Seriously, the venue was the most intimate I have ever been to, I was literally less than a foot away from the bassist/guitarist for MC Lars' live band, the performers had to walk through the crowd to get to their playing area. It was close quarters, in short. The energy was AMAZING. I usually don't really participate at shows, or if I do, it's so the artist doesn't feel bad. I don't know why, it's just not my thing. I prefer to enjoy the music more than the fact that I'm at a show. But this time, I participated out of sheer enjoyment for the music. I couldn't not get into it. And the crowd. Let me tell you, I've never felt like I belonged anywhere more.
Also, I wore my B.P.R.D. shirt and had a very hot girl rub against me for the entirety of the show, simply because we were wearing the same shirt.
Lastly, I met MC Lars and MC Frontalot. Like, actually talked to them. I paid 40 bucks for merch. I never buy merch. But I got a Final Boss shirt, the Final Boss record (Autographed by Damian Hess[MC Frontalot], thank you very much), and 4 Frontalot stickers for my car.
I loved that show so much, and I can't wait for them to be in my area again.
I'm in a good mood tonight, even though the mosh pit during the last song was the most exhausting thing ever.
