So apparently I posted a whole lot of NOTHING the other day. Go me. I guess I'll make up for it now.

Where to begin. I got back from minneapolis ages ago, and went back to working the same job that was driving me crazy before I left. Good idea... So I was not all about regina again. But I stayed for a little while....

welcome to edmonton, where we always need more people with taste...

why is it that whenever someone mentions edmonton, it leads to a bunch of people talking about calgary?

Man oh man. I miss Saskatchewan like none other. Who'd have thought? I'm still not even sure why I'm here. I guess it just seemed easier than sorting things out at home. I was in a rut. I didn't know if I'd ever get out. The only thing better about being here is that I know it's temporary. The job's over in three months, then...

Wellllll... It's been awhile. Just a little while. It's good to be back. Hope you didn't miss me too much. tongue

Where to begin. I'm kind of an american now. I guess I've always been, but I'm actually living here for awhile. Don't ask me why, I don't even know. Seemed like a good idea at the time? If I come home with a minnesotan accent,...

Have I mentioned I love my job? This girl I work with was talking about this pink helmet she has. A pink barbie helmet that she uses to "jump out of cars and stuff" (she tells me this like it's completely normal and merely a side note). Anyway, her boyfriend was over, and I guess they were going to go out somewhere, and she went...

Hah. For a second, I thought you were talking about my cousin's girlfriend (she works there), but when you got to the weirdness, I started thinking "No."

Poor kitty. Maybe cat acne? My kitty has acne on her chin, when it gets bad she looks like Leno.

I wish my dad were closer to my age, and also not my dad. Ok, that might sound kind of bad. I just wish it was easier to talk to him, and that we were going through the same things, because he really is the best person ever. I want to talk to him for hours and get his opinion on everything, but just having...

Woohoo, guess who's no longer unemployed. biggrin Got the job at Second Cup, and I already know way more about coffee than I thought I ever could. It's less like a job, and more like school so far. Which is actually pretty fun. Except for the binder of homework... whatever

Did you know that coffee beans aren't actually beans, but seeds from cherries? Maybe this is common...

Kristine works there too. I was getting my bitchy mom a coffee the other day and I was like "woah, who's that sexy bitch working at second cup"?... "it's kristine". They must be hiring you sexy ladies based on looks. I miss Liz at school. Come back!!!!!
rpg:
Now EVERYONE will want you to make the coffee at home you'll be so good at it!!! smile

Congrats on the new job! Too bad about the nose ring though.

I just had the weirdest dream ever. I don't even know if I was asleep. I was wide awake at 3am, but really needed to sleep, so I tried just lying there with my eyes closed. It was useless, so I just got up and went to the computer. But I was completely messed up. If I'd just eaten anything, I'd have sworn I was...

you know what is amazingly cool? if you get the job at Second Cup (which would be tres awesome) ( oh and good luck!) and if I get the job at Java Express...we will BOTH know how to make super-yummy coffee!

And never under-estimate a fucked up dream. Some times I wish that the weird dreams were kind of real.

I've been trying to update for an hour, but words aren't on my side right now. I'm completely numb to everything. I pretend I'm not, but it doesn't work. Don't let me waste your time. Sorry if it's too late. Something in my head isn't working right and it's really just best to stay away until I fix it. That being said, you're silly if...

Whoever the hell decided that cheese and chilli peppers in ALCOHOL was a good idea should be shot. What are you thinking, really. More importantly, why would I drink that. puke

Nothing's happening, so I have nothing to say. Although it's been that way long enough that I'm just getting used to it.

Sorry for sucking at commenting. It's genetic. Or something.

I want to hug...

So last night, for the first night in quite a few days, I went to bed at a decent hour. Like 1-ish. So do I get a good night's sleep? I do not. I wake up at 5am and can't get back to sleep. I watched tv lying down, which usually works, but no luck. I WANT REGULAR SLEEPING PATTERNS. mad

Maybe I should just embrace...

I'm hoping to trade in all my regular hours for nightshifts when I get to my new job in Regina. I love being up at night. smile I'd come buy donuts from you if you get into them.

PS- Love the new avatar.
evolution:
I'm missing the regular sleep patterns too. Go to bed at 2, can't wake up before 12. Go to bed at mightnight, still can't get up before 12. Unless I'm working, at least that job is good for something other than cash.

Do you work at Tim Hortons now? I've heard infamous tales of people throwing hot coffee, money, and being overall pricks. If you can handle that, I envy that you're definately more patient then I could ever be.

It's really sad how lost I felt when the power went out for like 3 hours today. You mean there are things to do that do not involve a computer? I ended up raiding the 12-year old's room and beating the high score on her bop-it. Remember those? I love it.

In other news, I'm finally getting around to reading Fight Club. Unfortunately, I do...
