When it rains it pours....
I finished my project early and under budget. As thanks, they are cutting my contract 6 weeks early. I will be out of a job for the first time since I was ~13 on Thanksgiving day.
The same week, my ex girlfirend decided to email me.
So, I get kicked in the nuts and in the heart.
Damn... do I need a good woman. Something to help me forget for a few minutes as I look in to her eyes or feel the warmth of her body against mine. Someone to whisper "I love you Master" and to coo at the caress of my flogger or to simply revel in being close. Something to lift me up during this brief stumble. Rarely in my life have I ever reached out a hand to steady myself... but this moment, when I reached out... I found nothing.
