bored bored... got a job offer from a restaurant i've never even applied to today.. woohoo? I've driven passed it..not a chance of going there, already in the best place in the city (and up until toronto easily) anyhow..
finished off watching death note last night and really need something else to watch now but im so picky about the shows i actually watch.. what happened to the food network? i used to be able to leave that station on all day and rarely even need to turn it off (paula dean and bobby flay are horrible and i will not watch either of them).. but now it seems like theres hardly any actual cooking shows on there..at least none worth watching anymore really..
found out drinking 6 assorted energy drinks and a couple pots of coffee over ~8 hours leads to something that feels a lot like mdma..then death...then being hungover.. but licks eased the pain so so well
ah! i also need to find a new barber/hairstylist around here.. i went down to my korean lady only to find out shes closed shop for good.. i loved that woman.. $13 for a haircut (potentially why she closed?) and never once in all the years ive been going there has she ever ONCE asked me what i wanted.. she always just got a 20 from me for that and for the fact shed actually make other people go wash/dry their hair or wait in general if i came in so i could be in and out in about 15 min tops... i so dont want to go back to paying $50 when i wear a hat all the time whether out or at work..but at the same time i dont particularly want to go back to a hair crafters or anything either..
..for now i guess back to listening to L7 and doing laundry tho..

And yes. I agree with you on the food network comments.. I hate hate hate paula dean.. and bobby flay just comes across as a G version of Ramsey.. they both come off to me as having huge egos.. All I find I watch on that station anymore is Chef at Home or Chef at Large..
paula can't cook! being a southern housewife and cover stuff in *shudder* white gravy isn't a form of culinary expertise... bobby is predictable..he may be a decent line cook ill give him that.. but everything is the same! "tex-mex" (ie: added hot peppers) or some kind of breakfast food slightly changed.. hardly impressive after seeing it the first couple times.. both of those are good tho that you mentioned..i do like mr smith.. i have a crush on laura caulder too (french food at home) even tho she talks with her teeth closed..
