If you ever get a chance to take a class with Jennifer Carpentier, DO IT. It doesn't matter what the class is. Just take it. She is the best English teacher I've ever had. I had her for Brit Lit II and then took her Women in Lit class the next semester. She's absolutely amazing, mostly because she's fairly young and doesn't have any kind of feminist agenda, like most of the female English profs.

You should come bowling next week. There tends to be four or five of us every Wednesday night from 10-12.....let me know if you're interested.
I would suggest going into the Peace Corps before grad school. It will give you a "break", and it will help you get into top schools since the Peace Corps counts as an extremely favorable experience. It will also provide a winning application essay.
