You've chosen some fine schools.

I would suggest going into the Peace Corps before grad school. It will give you a "break", and it will help you get into top schools since the Peace Corps counts as an extremely favorable experience. It will also provide a winning application essay. smile

I don't think a six-pack would help my cold, and I'm not big on pizza, but the idea of you in pajamas is just too cute.

What do you have next semester?

I have no idea who my teachers are, and I'm too lazy to check right now. tongue

If you ever get a chance to take a class with Jennifer Carpentier, DO IT. It doesn't matter what the class is. Just take it. She is the best English teacher I've ever had. I had her for Brit Lit II and then took her Women in Lit class the next semester. She's absolutely amazing, mostly because she's fairly young and doesn't have any kind of feminist agenda, like most of the female English profs. wink

Okay... I looked... tongue

I have Dupuis for Renaissance Lit, Dykstra for Studies in Verse, and "Staff" for Advanced Fiction Writing. I've heard good things about Dykstra, but I'm not familiar with Dupuis. "Staff" is a toss-up. wink

The politics in most of Africa is extremely depressing. But I better stop there or I'll descend into a manifesto-length tirade on the government.

Hope your Thanksgiving turns out well.

i wish arnold didn't want to get rid of worker's compensation insurance... apparently it's sucking the life out of our small businesses and we should just all be indentured servants.

I totally feel you. All I have time to do is go to school, work, and if I'm lucky sleep. I feel bad cause I've been neglecting my friendships. Anyhow, thanks for the message wink

Hmm.. The adulations for Once Upon a Time in Mexico keeps pouring in . That broadens my choices to Cabin Fever, American Splendor, or Once Upon a Time.

Hope classes turn around for you. School-life is infinitely more difficult when the classes stink.

You should come bowling next week. There tends to be four or five of us every Wednesday night from 10-12.....let me know if you're interested.
