In the past week, I have had a friend whose father died, same friend's girlfriend had a miscarriage, another friend's mother-in-law went to the hospital(not sure what's going on yet), my cousin is getting a divorce(cheating wife), and finally, my cousin's dad had a heart attack.

doubtful. dealerships make more money off servicing vehicles than they do selling them. Unless it is an extreme saftey issue they don't fix the problem.
