Here's a game I'd like to play with all my cyber-friends. OK, so it's not so much a game as it as a question-and-answer.

It's 5 a.m. and bedtime. As he flips the light off, I slide under the sheets - just enough cover to keep the ever-present mosquitoes off my bare skin and hide the imperfections of my body without being too hot to sleep.
He squeezes my bare ass once, then his fingers slide between my legss, but we're both too tired, too hot, too sore for...

Interesting thought ya got there, lady. Now, do I need to pay you a penny for them? Hehe, they are certainly worth MUCH MUCH more than a penny, but you know that! And honey, this southeastern humidity KILLS! It will get better, I promise (actually, you'll just get used to it!). My fave is......Ummm....hmmm, I think Eli, 'cause she's my new buddy!

I need a job. A job that pays well. A job where I don't have to go into an office from 8:30-5:00 every Monday through Friday. A job where I don't have to answer to some tie-wearing, scuffed-shoe-having, aftershave-smelling dude whose only joy in life is bossing me around so he can go home and bitch to his fluffy-haired wife and Little League-playing kids about...

LOL...it's SO not your fault! Honey, you are married now....being barefoot and in the kitchen takes up A LOT of time! Blame it on that husband of yours!!! LMAO! JK....So, how IS married life...enlighten us eternally single folks! INquiring minds MUST know! But really, hope all is well on the ranch, and thank you for those encouraging words. It feels like, lately, anyway, a lot of my "freinds" have become OVERLY analytical of the going's on's in my life. But to hell with my critics! I am going to do what makes me happy while they all stew in their misery and muck! And yes, I agree, we DO need to keep in touch better!!!!

You're right, Ohio is just boring flat, unless you get to the fsr east side. Florida is fine but I do miss having all the seasons of the north. A little cod weather never hurt anyone.

My first week in this town has been profound, amazing. The culmination of all the changes that have been happening inside me over the last year. I'm starting to see things symbolicly, to rant like a literary madman.
Night before last I was tired, I curled up in the sleeping bag on the floor of my empty apartment. Unable to sleep I get dressed and go to the pub three blocks away, where I had a wonderful conversation with a pair of philosiphy majors, about positivism, existentialism and post-modern philosphy in general followed by discussions about travel, drugs sex etc. Has a conversation ever set you on fire?
They leave to go study (although how one studies after five or six beers is beyond me), I go say hello to two beautiful women at the other end of the bar, one of them has been sending smiles my way for the better part of an hour. We talk about music life, art, writing, one is a songwriter. I begin to talk about symbolism.
"Have you ever had one line of a book send you into a trance? The line that set me off the other day was this 'For man, the vast marvel is to be alive. For man, as for flower, beast and bird, the supreme triumph is to be most vividly, most perfectly alive...' I got up and started walking, love for everything filling me, I looked to my right and I saw a pretty young woman skipping up to a man sitting on a bench, she throws her harms around him from behind, and I overflow, filled with infinite compassion for them. A pure expression of love, not eros but love based on honest connection. I continue walking; again on my right I see a couple taking their wedding photographs, compared to what I had just seen it seemed false, contrived force and very cold. The shackles of definition that we use in a futile attempt to reign in love, to make it selfish and possesive. Next block again on my right (funny how things come in threes) I see a homeless man talking to himself, the absence of love, of connection with others drives one to madness."
"It seemed so marvelously simple, we are comfused, eros is not love, lovbe is just the simple desire to connect, so for a fleeting moment you can know that you are not alone, more than that, that we are all made of the same stuff. Imagine if the entire world, all six billion strong stopped for a moment to express love simply and honestly, it would cause an implosion of everything we know and are. At the end of this walk one phrase popped into my head, 'The beautiful thing about humanity is it's infinite potentiallity.' The fact that two people can share love, implies that we all can, proving to me that the perfect world is within the realm of human potential, and that is a beautiful enough thought to make want to continue to live and love in the most profound way possible."
All the time that I am ranting, they are looking at me, two pairs of beautiful, wet eyes, listening, transfixed.
The first woman smiled at me and said, "You seem mildly explosive."
They then get up to leave, she comes up to me, hugs me, kisses the corner of my mouth and looks into my eyes, "You are brilliant, but you need focus."
She smiles again, honestly, deeply, squeezes my hand, lingering on my fingertips then walks out the door. I am in rapture.

Yay for Reno...home of the quicky marriage. This time next week, I could very well be Mrs. Steve!
I promise to update with something interesting. Yes, yes, I will.
What's the best thing about SG?
and
Do you believe in regret? If so, why?

Oh my! Doing it up shot gun style, eh? Can I PLEASE be your white trash bride's maid? C'mon, I PROMISE not to flirt with the fat Elvises!!!!! hehe, OK, so the best thing about SG?? Meeting my sis that I never had (you!). As fas as regret is concerned, no, I don't beleive in it. I beleive in having done things in not such a smart fashion but trying oh so hard to draw a good lesson from it!!!

...but Thursday is already underway, so it's really more like one day.
My back hurts and I have nothing interesting to say.
On the bright side, it's springtime and the world, as always, is perfectly chaotic.
If you won the lottery, would you leave anyone behind? Anything?

To be perfectly honest, it likely would have been the same situation had I not made the decision.
This just gives me a bit of an excuse for my social ineptitudes.

You must check this movie out! If you learn one thing from me, let it be that.
Oh, and read this guy's books. You will never look at the world the same way again. Love and gratitude, people - love and gratitude.
Dude. I'll update again, I swear.

Cool, let me know when I can have a look.
I hear that bartending school is not as useful as just coming up the ranks, and I've even heard bartenders call them rip-offs! For chefs, I think school is an option, but my brother never went to chef's school, he just busted his ass.

Some other choices-
glassed(or the verb to glass)
octane
momentum
blur
present(as in tense, or timeframe)
killswitch
furious
reasoning
recently a friend of a friend glassed somebody, now, I make no bones about it, it's an ugly, hateful and vile act. I violent degredation, against all humanity. but hot shit that word is cool when used as a verb, it just sounds damn disturbing.
octane's such a great word, when taken out of the technical terminology and used to refer to your life. godamn it's cool to talk about music as high octane, and it makes you sound like you're tough and know a lot about muscle cars. seriously, try it, it works.
momentum. mine is increasing and it makes me happy. it's not movement, or speed, it's momentum. the force with which carries you purely in and of itself. hot damn.
blur. when my momentum is high I move so fast I blur around the edges. Seriously.
present, as in a time frame, the present time. it's great to talk about the present or short/term v. long term, because things are changing. flux is also a good word, but not choosen because of a certain nude model's alias. things are in a state of flux.
killswitch and furious should require no explination whatsoever.
associates with .... um ... sinning! and, um ... plexiglass!
