@jozsef, they're pretty great actually. One of my good friends is a pulmonologist who recommends them to patients who can't quit. It's the only thing that helped me quit smoking for good after more than 20 years and 2 attempts. Across study after study they've blown every other smoking cessation method out of the water, and the only ingredient that's proven to be harmful is nicotine, which is fairly mild in it's harm as a stimulant and vasoconstrictor. The average cigarette has more than 2,000 components shown to be harmful. That's why, in the most extensive report other than the US one fatally compromised by lobbying groups, British NHS called them perhaps the greatest public health opportunity in a century. Textbook moral panic was all that quashed their proposal to promote and pay for them en masse. And @shenzy, of course you look hot as hell.

@fullfeeling First of all, it's a pleasure to read a comment that is so logical and well presented. I have no reason to quibble about anything you say. My concern is about despicable companies putting all manner of substances in vaping products that have never been shown to be safe when inhaled with mounting evidence that they are a menace. I know how hard it can be to quit smoking because it took my father 21 tries. My father, the fearless soldier who escaped from a Nazi labor camp and then fought them with the Hungarian resistance was remarkable for his discipline and determination but this challenged him like nothing else ever had.
