A story that redefines excitement: The latest episode of my mangled computer tales

There are those who think I lack the skills to be truly boring (you can see we are quickly leaving reality and entering the world of imagination, such as it is) and this post should put such ideas to rest, since it once again revolves around my recalcitrant computers. It seems like

So, all's well that ends well.

Somewhere the sun is shining, the sheep are grazing peacefully in the meadow and an owl is contentedly munching on a field mouse, who clearly is getting the short end of the proverbial stick in this particular idyll. It just shows that you can't please everybody or that mice are notorious for chosing the wrong neighbourhoods. I'm not really...

I can usually think of something funny to write here at least once a month, although the people who are amused could probably all take a very comfortable trip together in a Volkswagen beetle; not a highly marketable skill and Hollywood's silence seems very much like like tacit agreement.

These days, I'm thinking less about humour and a great deal about my very fine friend...

Wow. Here I was coming to thank you for the nice set comment.

Paul is so lucky to have you as a friend.
I've seen what cancer does, and to have a friend and to be a friend could mean all the difference in the world.

You have a beautiful soul. I can sense it.
I wish you and Paul all the best through all of this.

Cheers,

Renna

A friend of mine is distressed by people killing each other over religion. I'm in complete agreement with him. I can think of much better reasons for killing one another than religion; for instance there's being resoundingly beaten at tennis, or burning the toast repeatedly, even after being warned. We all have our breaking points and woe betide those who would tread carelessly. You reap...

I've seen both but I can't remember the life of Brian. I love the Catholic family in the Meaning of Life though ( my husband is Irish Catholic and comes from a family of eleven, so we always sing the sperm is sacred song to his mom). What the Bleep is an awesome documentary filmed the lovely city of Portland. It is a "must see". biggrin

thank you my wonderful pal! smile biggrin kiss

Saw a movie last night called There Will Be Blood.
Boring, pretentious, pointless, and no blood to speak of; highly recommended for lovers of that particular genre. For others, it can boast of the significant virtue of finite length, and I can admit to feeling a touch of elation when the end credits were shown. Analogous to striking one's head against an unyielding surface, but...

I keep seeing TV commercials talking about something called "reptile dysfunction." Not only that but vast numbers of junk email arrives almost daily offering to help me with the very same "problem." Now, I probably like snakes and lizards more than most people, but when did their problems, whatever they are, become mine? I must be getting old because the world just seems to get...

hey hun
god, you must be fed up with my negativity, im sorry, i try to be positive but sometimes its really quite diffiult.
i talked to my boyfriend today, i told him im not changing to fit into his little picture perfect girlfriend mould, i am not perfect nor will i pretend to be, he understood and took it all quite well actually, so thats good.
however my mom mentioned to me this afternoon that she doesnt think hes good for me, and hes got alot of issues that i dont need to deal with, obviously i know this, but i really just dont know what to think of it all, i feel like im not making him happy, in all sense of the word.

Time to clean out the pretentious old blog entry and do something new fresh, spontaneous and exciting. That's a relative term, exciting, and I don't have a lot of relatives, thus the meaning is shrouded in a bit of mystery, but onward stout soldiers, together we face the future and greet destiny and, . . . . . pretty much sink into a morass of...

Painted my eyeglass frames black last night; looks terrible. Now I'm off to the interior design show. Clearly, there can be little doubt that everything about me is exciting. Ho hum. . .

Update: I decided to drink some very weak coffee. From a very nice cup. It's not Victorian or anything though, more sorta geometric. You know that post-war German look that Hans Gugelot...
