The bad news is that D and I are down one computer...
which means come night time, don't be surprised if you see a little less of me in the wee hours, as i have to be nice and share the little computer we have left at the moment.
Yesterday i got to see a wonderful poetry reading in downtown brockton, at the main library.
Mind you, i haven't set foot in that library since i was a wee bit Shelly...
i was quite impressed with their remodeling of the place!
And i got to meet the lovely Kera, who was kind enough to give me the heads up about her friend David reading there as one of the featured poets.
I'm so glad i went, as he is such a great writer!
and what can i say about Kera, besides being amazingly intelligent, she is even more beautiful in person....
hard to believe considering how photogenic she is.
On another wonderful note... my friend EddieDrood got married yesterday!
So a big hearty congratulations to him and his new wife
Dorwayin is working at the restaurant tonight for some type of cigar party, while i hang out on the computer avoiding housework like the plague.
I am no domestic goddess by any means!
My apartment is completely cluster fucked, i do believe i stole that expression from D.
Too many "things" and "Stuff" occupying space.
oh.... and to my friend SurlyMike who is returning from the virgin islands at some point tonight or tomm.
A big thank you again for the Festival guide and blanket you scored for me at the Palm Springs Film festival!!
It is much appreciated.
So you have read up to here so far...

holagatita:
Thanks Shelly! Was Matt Dillon a nice guy? I've met a few celebrities and they're not always nice, so it's really gratifying when they are, especially if you admire them!

oh and you're right, MD should totally have been nominated for Drugstore Cowboy!
