at the meeting with my academic advisor yesterday, she was able to help me out and chart what I should be doing. The good news is 4 of my classes from before are still valid and transferable to my new degree. Also changed my major officially to Psychology, waiting to fill out the FAFSA (the website was acting up when I tried, will try again in a day or two).
I'm not bragging about this, but these two things said to me have me riding a high this week.
The first was a young lady at work who is studying to be a nurse. When I told her I want to be a therapist, she said, "I can see that; you're very warm and welcoming and you have such a pure soul."
Then, one of my friends at work said, "A lot of people just talk to others to make conversation; you are actually interested in people and what's going on with them. I just wanted to say thank you for being you."
Finally, a friend was asking about the difference between trying to meet someone IRL and OL, and I told them for me it's this:
For someone I meet IRL, I assume they're being honest until they prove differently; OL, I assume they're lying until they prove they're not (and sadly, 99.99% of them are lying)...
