A few reminders with the Hallmark Holiday coming up in a couple weeks:
You don't have to buy expensive gifts to show your "love" (gift giving is a fine love language, but if your partner insists on you buying them lavish gifts they view you as a walking ATM);
Getting married or engaged should be done on your comfort level, not when others tell you (and please for the love of all that's holy make sure you have talked to them already about moving forward like that!);
A lot of restaurants raise prices on that day, so celebrate a day or two before or after (hells even a week is fine); and
If you only show your partner love and affection on 1 day of the year, you are really not equipped to be in a healthy relationship.
