To get a new generation interested in the universe in the style they're used to? I'm a child of the 90s, I watched Mad Max a few years back. I didn't care for the first one; I liked Thunderdome since it was just crazy. I'm interested in this one because it looks really visually striking. Oh, and screw Mel Gibson so I am happy to see another actor in his place.
shawntloe:
True enough about your first point. I think Mel Gibson was amazing in the Mad Max films; a perfect actor for the part. It's really hard for me to imagine anyone else playing the character. Perhaps if they made this with a different character to introduce the franchise to a new generation??? Kind of like Episodes I-III of Star Wars and then the forthcoming films. Imagine if they remade Star Wars Ep. IV and cast different actors as the characters we already know and love!

Very cool

aww, thanks @adelina I asked for a fade into the top, but she just went with the clippers right around my head. I think she thought I wanted a pompadour or something, lol
shawntloe:
@maevee you can't see it, but I'm wearing my Star Wars Stormtrooper T-shirt under the Harley hoodie ;)

According the the box quote, Avenged is "the female Crow we've been waiting for." We'll see about that... but I don't remember ever waiting for or wishing for a female version of The Crow. Anchor Bay is distributing, so odds are that it's not a horrible movie.

@shawntloe It is, and the whole composition with her. It's a great set indeed!

Ok, so the launch trailer is kick-ass, and it helps that System of a Down's "Chop Suey" is used as the score. What's more, SOAD's bassist, Shavo Odadjian, directed the trailer. More info at yellmagazine.com. And, dear god, follow us on Facebook!
