At the moment the idea of the girl at the party is probably mainly alluring because things seem tainted with your wife after she cheated and this seems like it would be a fresh start. It's also nice to find out that someone finds you attractive and wants to be with you, and reminds you that you are not stuck with the person you're with, that it's actually a choice to be with her. Maybe this situation has just highlighted to you that you took your wife back because you felt stuck with her? If you don't feel that way, if you really like being with your wife, then it would be a lot easier to carry that relationship on and let go of the idea of being with the other girl, since you have children together and a whole life tied up in each other.
