On a lighter note:

I am without a beard or goatee for the 1st time in over a decade!
Only time will tell if I look good or if I just look like I'm in a Village People tribute band.

My mantra for the weekend: Control is an illusion.

We do not have control, only choices. Once I accepted this frustrating truth, things got much easier.

So, I guess that's it.....


I've had an interesting few years on this site. I came here at a very low point in my life and met some incredibly wonderful people. People I will always consider friends. I've seen this site go through some highs and lows, but it's always been a pleasure to be here.

* Refinanced my home and got out of debt
* My ears decided to stretch on their own from a 1/2" to 5/8"
* Within a few weeks I'll finally be at the point where I can work less and start to enjoy more of my life.
