Ok, so I almost wrecked my car tonight.
For those of you that don't know last November I flipped my Solara
Walked away from it, actually helped them load it upside down on the tow truck. Needless to say it was totaled so I bought this
a '03 Subaru WRX which is a 4banger turbo charged 225hp AWD car - AKA very fun to drive, corners like it is on rails.
Had to sell it cause I couldn't afford the insurance. So now I have an '01 Maxima, still a nice car but not the performance of the WRX; I keep forgeting that at times. Such as tonight; I was in a 45 mph zone on 50W took a turn (recommended 25mph) a bit to fast. Front end broke loose and spunout; missed the concrete wall at 60+mph by a couple of inches and did a 540 degree turn stopping sideways across the road. No one was hurt, no one else was around; my car seems ok but I'll check it again in the morning.
I had spent the night helping my friend paint her room, so mabye little good Karma for a good deed. Much love to fast reflexes, a shit ton of luck. Downshifting and going lock to lock when seeing the leaves that were inches off the wall fly up from your front left tire freaks you out. I hate front wheel drive cars and ABS brakes (they always lock on me). But mostly I just need to stop driving so fast; at least until I can get another AWD car
