I had an interview today at HRTV. It went really well. The job I'm gunning for is Television Audio Mixer. The pay and benefits are great. The hours are regular. The commute wouldn't be too bad.
I didn't know what to expect when I went in. The broadcast office is in the main building at Santa Anita. The guy I interviewed with was really cool. I think he was a little younger than I. Apparently, he and a bunch of other people there are also USC alum. I was really happy to see that he appreciated my qualifications and talents. I think I'm a strong candidate and I hope I get it. It would be a huge relief. I should know Friday.
I'm not telling very many people because I don't want to jinx it.
Wish me luck, I need a cash injection and some stability. Then, I can start thinking about treating the ladies and paying back everyone who's been helping me out.

Good luck. It sounds like a good gig & a good match for you. I know how tough the hunt can be, but if it leads to something great - hang in there. Happy Holidays.
