So another year well underway. I am broke, so I won't be going to the BDO. Would really have loved to see the Mars Volta and the Dandy Warhols, though not so keen on the rash of rock revival bands. Where will they be in 18 months???

We are supporting Meatloaf at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre!!!
As daggy as it might seem, being offered this gig was a rather refreshing experience after having spent the last year fruitlessly trying to hassle booking agents to get on the bill with some flash-in-the-pan retro revivalists. If it's daggy, then fuck it. Somehow it suddenly seems no less cool than all that stuff that is constantly shoved at everyone by the likes of JJJ, Channel V, the Major Record Labels, etc.
Like Devo says - we're through being cool.

We had a final rehersal before recording today, everything's sounding great. It should all come together nicely.
