So it happened... I finally got arrested for my first time. I'm not proud nor happy about it, but it was an interesting experience. It started me and my brother breaking up a fight in a bar and ended with me being arrested and charged with disturbing the peace (fighting), resisiting arrest, and battering a police officer. I'm going to start looking for a lawyer tomorrow. Oh yeah, my brother got arrested with similar charges. I didn't know I was being charged with battering a police officer until I was getting bailed out... infact I wasn't sure what I was being charged with at all until I getting bailed out. I couldn't help but laugh when reading the charges, especiall the one about battering a police officer. There's nothing funny about battering a police officer. For those of you that know me, could you imagine me battering anyone, especially a cop?

that's really horrible news to hear - getting arrested for trying to help end a fight and calm things down. I hope you're able to get a good lawyer and get those charges reduced.
