i'm back! and better than ever... some kind soul renewed my subscription, so i'll be around for at least three months 
my life is much less full of derby, but much more full of beasties! i'm an 'uber-foster'... i don't know the exact definition, but 20+ kittens at a time qualifies, i think... what's new with everyone around here? how 'bout that summer heat?

well, i've totally sucked at all those resolutions :/ my guy friend came back into town for a week right after i posted, so that blew all my plans out of the water... not that i can complain too much... and then i went and busted a nail off, so guitar plans are kind of ruined atm, as well. boo for me.

it's bizarre how i can go from being so painfully bored and lonely, to having not enough time in a week to squeeze in all the things i want/need to to. i have two (count 'em TWO) dates this week, so that'll be interesting at least. i'm back in action and skating again, so practice fills up at least two nights...

I've had a great number of friends and family do this, and it's worked out pretty well for them all. But beware of course, because it was a terrible, harrowing experience for a few of them!

i am so tired, and the weekend hasn't even started, yet! our derby team is pretty much booked solid with events from now until after austin. we officially scheduled our first bout for july 11th, and it is going to kick so much ass
