I've been seeing entirely old people and I mean like 50s+ saying dude. Not only are they saying it but they're using it as an Interjection and not a noun or pronoun.

At first I thought it was isolated because this woman I work with always says it and I just thought it rubbed off from me and everyone else.

I'm afraid.
