what can i say today
i have moved alot of my stuff into tashas today
was not fun getting my bearded dragon and its tank half way across london
i have over 800 dvds so it wont be fun moving that fucking lot. also all my books as well. my bedroom at my parents is just stacked high with books and films and lizard tanks and martial arts stuff. im such a fucking uber geek.
i have college from 9am till 8pm tomorrow, i may try and get to the gym for a 7am workout. i figure if i do weights twice a week for the first month will be a good way to ease myself back into training. will have wrestling twice a week from next month as well, my fat should soon be gone!!
i have been talking to tasha about her going further with college, my place is a training school so they cover alot of courses. she is a special needs assistant for children but she requires another course level for her to be able to run and supervise a special needs school. im trying to persuade her to enrol for next september. its one day a week and will only take a year for her to become qualified.
weve also spoke about taking up some courses in something fun, maybe photography perhaps.
i think any day where your not learning something or improving yourself in some way is a day wasted. i grew up in a house where skills have always been heavily emphasised. my dad is a great example, he can fix anything and is one of the hardest working guys i know and there isnt anything he doesnt know about history or politics.
my dad grew up on a farm in galway, it was always fun as a kid going back to visit my uncles and learning stuff about farming. my dad left home at 16 and moved to germany where he became an engineer. he then moved to england at 21 where he met my mum. is quite a funny story as my mum was out with her 3 sisters and i think my dad tried it on with all 4 of them. dirty fucker. then again for brunette sisters who are all 5ft tall... damn i would have as well.
i remember growing up i was always going to work with my dad, fixing trucks and learning how to drive every machine on a building site. i guess the reason why im talking about this is i cant understand people who arent able to help themselves. i cant understand guys who cant do anything. i look at guys on the train in the morning and the only topics they can talk about is football, girls and the pointless jobs they have. is it wrong i laugh at people who cant even change a tire? or know how to lay a brick wall or do anything? i cant understand people who have no interests in learning anything.
if i won the lottery i would spend the rest of my life doing degrees in anything and everything.
maybe i am just a big fucking geek but i dont care. im just waffling.
