Thanksgiving is over, Christmas hasn't come yet, so we are in that in-between time of two close holidays in the US. But right now it should be all about holiday cheer and happiness. And hope. At least, I hope that you all are enjoying much happiness and good cheer.
Right now we are planning and preparing for our epic drive next Sunday from North Carolina to Houston,Texas, which is about 1200 miles and 20 hours. I think we'll be driving straight through so we don't have to risk staying at a hotel, Covid being rampant and all. I'm excited to start this adventure, not having driven it for...wow, 27 years. I'm sure it will become much less fun as the hours wear on, but we'll see.
