I learned something last week. One needs to wash their models if they are going to paint them, because sometimes an oily residue is left on them and the paint/primer won't bond and instead bubbles or slides off. Who knew? Well, you and me now. So obviously I tried to airbrush the model and the paint slid off, so after a quick web search I found the answer. So I submerged all the model parts in warm soapy water and scrubbed the pieces with a soft toothbrush and let it dry. I was going to try repainting over the weekend but I was not feeling well on Saturday and Sunday, so today I'll try it out.
Saturday Amanda and Alan came over and they taught us how to play Viticulture, a board game about growing grapes and producing wine. It sounds boring, but it's actually fun. It's also long. It was 4 hours (the first hour was instructional). When a game starts to approach 3 hours I begin to get restless and want to just be done. And this was getting way past time for me. Plus I was starting to not feel well. I had a drink but that just made it worse. We finished (I came in dead last), and then I went to bed. They stayed up for another 2 hours, but I was asleep. Sunday I just felt bloody awful all day, napped a few times. Today I'm feeling much better and will start repainting the model.
Ooo, time to go to the chiropractor and get my back popped and neck snapped. Much love to you all. Keep taking care and feeling good. Remember, I'm sending you love and hugs. **MWAH**
