So it's day 14 for Karen being at home, so this is how I'm setting the date. Our president (he's a moron) and some state governors have stated that it's okay to open the country back up to protect our economy, and when asked about the old and vulnerable people, they state that they should be proud to give their lives for the country!!!!! Gods these people are terrible!
As you know, not much had changed for me since I was already a house-husband. The only things that really changed is I don't get to go to lunch now, and the laundry loads are much smaller. We turned one of our rooms into and office for Karen so she can work there and close the door during conference calls.
Speaking of Karen, she has a headcold, somehow, and has been miserable the last week. I've been hit hard by the pollen explosion with my allergies. Today is the first day all week I've felt any energy, so I tackled some chores around the house. I need to get working on the beaded necklace for my mother for her birthday in May. I'll post pictured when I finish it.
Phryne the conure is doing well. The is enjoying the extra time with Karen being home and getting to do more stuff than when she is stuck with just me. Her wings have gown out a little too long and she is learning how to fly! I hate to trim her feathers again since she seems so proud of them, and they are a gorgeous iridescent blue, but I need to keep her out of trouble.
And that's about all there is to report right now. So much love to you all out there. Take care of yourselves and stay well. MWAH!!!
